Karen lives outside of Boston with her husband and cat, Izzy. She loves old school movie theatres, traveling, and collecting new experiences.

Susan Mara Bregman
After a career in transportation research and policy, Susan Mara Bregman has returned to her first loves—writing and photography—with a focus on New England nostalgia. Susan has written four books for Arcadia Publishing, the most recent of which is New England Sweets: Doughnuts, Bonbons, and Whoopie Pies. She received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University with a concentration in linguistics and a master’s degree in city and regional planning from the Harvard Kennedy School.
