Prepared Exclusively for FFI Members

Congratulations to the 2018 Achievement Award Recipients

In 1992, to further enhance its multidisciplinary and global approach to family enterprise advising, consulting, and research, FFI began to establish awards for professional achievement.

Today there are four: Richard Beckhard Practice Award, Barbara Hollander Award, Interdisciplinary Award, International Award. These prestigious awards are the pinnacles of achievement in the field, and we are pleased to announce this year’s recipients. All awards will be presented at the FFI Global Conference at the Park Plaza Riverbank hotel in London in October.

Richard Beckhard Practice Award: Kirby Rosplock

Then, for nearly a decade, she was director of research at GenSpring Family Office.

Kirby is a graduate of Middlebury College, Marquette University, and has a PhD from Saybrook University, where she focused on change management as it applies to affluent families. Her passion and love of writing inspired her to write articles, research studies, and books including The Complete Family Office Handbook, A Guide for Affluent Families and the Advisors Who Serve Them (Wiley/Bloomberg) and The Complete Direct Investing Handbook, A Guide for Family Offices, Accredited Investors and Qualified Purchasers (Wiley/Bloomberg).

Dr. Rosplock is an FFI Fellow and a member of the GEN faculty.
