Today, we celebrate more outstanding contributions to the field by announcing the 2022 Family Business Review Award recipients. These awards will be presented at the FFI Conference in October.

About FBR
2021 Impact Factors were just released, and FBR had a great showing: 7.575.
FBR is now ranked 40/154 in the “Business” category.
Published as a refereed journal since 1988, Family Business Review (FBR) is the leading scholarly publication devoted exclusively to exploration of the dynamics of family-controlled enterprise, including firms ranging in size from the very large to the relatively small. FBR, which is owned by the Family Firm Institute (FFI), is focused not only the entrepreneurial founding generation, but also on family enterprises in the 2nd and 3rd generation and beyond, including some of the oldest companies in the world. In addition, the journal publishes interdisciplinary research on families of wealth, family foundations and offices.

Thanks to the contributions and forward thinking of the FFI 2086 Society members, all FFI members are fortunate to have access to the thinking and provocative ideas of Mark Stevenson, our Futurenaut-in-Residence.

Mark kicked off his tenure with FFI last year as the closing keynote at the London conference. In January he and Debbie Bing, FFI board chair, recorded a podcast entitled “Falling in Love with the Future.” If you haven’t listened to it yet, go here. In May, Mark facilitated a small meeting hosted by FFI board member and GEN faculty member, Maya Prabu.

Next up? A ninety-minute virtual seminar on July 14, 9:00AM–10:30AM ET. This session is open to all members at no charge, and we hope you will register today. There will be an opportunity to provide input in the conversation both before and during the seminar.
