e are pleased to announce the 2026 recipients of the FFI GEN scholarships. These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of the FFI board of directors and the 2026 scholarship sponsors. Recipients are enrolled in and benefit from the interdisciplinary education provided by the GEN certificate program.

FFI Board Scholarships
The FFI Board Scholarships are offered annually at the discretion of the FFI Board of Directors to one or more applicants who demonstrate financial need.

Andrew Muscara is a partner at Lineage Group, where he works with founder-led businesses, business families, and family offices across the areas of finance, strategy, governance, and succession. His practice sits at the intersection of technical advisory and the deeply human dynamics that shape family enterprises. He is a registered chartered accountant, and he is an accredited advisor of the Family Business Association of Australia & New Zealand.

Linda Salim, PhD, is the CEO and co-founder of Daftaro Surya Gunadata, a healthcare technology platform. In addition, she is a family business researcher and serves in leadership roles across multiple family-owned businesses in Indonesia. Her practice bridges real-world practice with structured, research-based approaches to family business. Her co-authored FFI Practitioner article “Chief Emotional Officers in Asia’s Collectivist Cultures” was one of the publication’s most popular articles of 2023.
Glenn Ayres Memorial Scholarship
The Glenn Ayres Memorial Scholarship was offered in 2026 by Carolyn Ayres to honor the intellectual and professional legacy of Glenn Ayres, a scholar, legal practitioner, and past president of FFI.

Daniel Graterón Marín

Daniel Graterón Marín is an attorney practicing at a Caracas-based firm that specializes in family enterprise advising. He graduated from law school cum laude and continues to advise and tutor secondary school students at his alma mater. As he learned the complexities of family advisory, he aspired to further his education in the field and use it to strengthen family enterprises of Venezuela and, by extension, bolster the nation’s economy.
Waesche Family Scholarship
The Waesche Family Scholarship is offered annually by the Waesche Family for those in need of financial support to take the next step in their professional development within the field of family enterprise. Preference is given to applicants who research and aid in the understanding of the inescapable influence of money on the family enterprise.

Rebeca Barbeito Iglesias
SBF Consultores
Rebeca Barbeito Iglesias is a family enterprise advisor and founder of SBF Consultores, a firm specializing in governance, succession, and gender dynamics. Her work focuses on authority design, next-generation leadership, and intergenerational continuity. She advises family enterprises in Spain and is an active member of FFI, participating in both the the Iberoamérica VSG and the Women in Family Enterprise VSG.
Advanced Program Scholarships
Alliant Private Client Scholarship
Alliant Private Client Scholarship is offered for next-generation family business members who would like to pursue an Advanced Certificate, further developing their understanding of the family enterprise field. Applicants must have earned a CFBA and/or a CFWA to apply.

Emeline Foster, CFBA/CFWA, is the founder of a boutique philanthropic advisory firm. She works with HNW and UHNW individuals, multi-generational families, and family offices, supporting them across the full philanthropic journey, from defining values and priorities to structuring foundations, coordinating legal and tax advisors, and supporting implementation. The 2024 recipient of the FFI Green Associates GEN Scholarship, she has served as managing director of foundations in the US and in France.
Glenn Ayres Memorial Scholarship
The Glenn Ayres Memorial Scholarship was offered in 2026 by Carolyn Ayres to honor the intellectual and professional legacy of Glenn Ayres, a scholar, legal practitioner, and past president of FFI.

His work focuses on supporting multi‑generational planning and family governance, developing and delivering HNW wealth education, and facilitating meaningful family meetings.
