BDO Advisory BV, based in the Netherlands, is a family business-focused advisory firm that provides professional services to families and family enterprises to secure stability and plan for the future.

The UBS Family Advisory practice is a global team dedicated to advising ultra-high-net-worth families and family offices on multigenerational wealth continuity with a focus on family governance, family office, and next-generation topics.

Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) Center for Family Business, founded in 1999, provides consultancy and advice to business families. The Center’s services support the preservation of the family entrepreneurial legacy and enable the transformation of the governing bodies and communication schemes of the business family.

Family businesses generate about 90% of Mexico’s GDP, and around 70% of them consider innovation as a key factor for their continuity. That is why Universidad Panamericana created a degree program in Family Business Administration and Management. The degree curriculum, unique in Mexico, focuses on developing future managers in a key sector of the economy.

The University of Alberta School of Business is home to the Alberta Business Family Institute (ABFI) and the Centre for Entrepreneurship & Family Enterprise (CEFE). ABFI and CEFE inspire business families, scholars, students, and advisors to celebrate, learn, and grow family businesses through stories, connections, research and education. They link scholars, students, and business families together providing targeted academic research, the study of family-owned businesses, and outreach focusing on strategic decision-making, governance, and succession planning for business families across Alberta and beyond.
