Established in May 2023 under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, the Dubai Centre for Family Businesses supports family-owned businesses in achieving continuity and a successful transition between generations by providing impactful services and initiatives. Dubai Chambers is a non-profit public entity that supports Dubai’s vision as a global player by empowering businesses, providing innovative value-added services and access to influential networks.

Prairie Family Business Association helps family businesses thrive through generations. The Association is a key outreach center of the University of South Dakota’s Beacom School of Business. More than 260 businesses are part of membership, which is open to any family business in the U.S. and across the globe. Programming is offered throughout the year with the premier program, the annual hybrid family business conference, held each April.

STEP is a professional, international, and outward-facing organization whose primary purposes are to improve public understanding of the issues that families face in relation to inheritance and succession planning, and to promote education and high professional standards among its members. STEP’s Business Families Special Interest Group focuses on what makes business families distinct, their particular challenges, and how to best address them.

STEP and the STEP Business Families Special Interest Group received the 2019 FFI International Award.

More than 30 STEP members are part of the FFI membership, and they hail from countries around the globe, including Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean.
