s we close out the year at FFI, we want to highlight three directories available to members and interested parties. These resources are part of FFI’s ongoing commitment to advancing the field of multi-generational advising. All directories can be accessed at FFI Directories.

1. Educational Directory
Explore a wide range of educational opportunities in the family enterprise field with this comprehensive directory of over 250 family business education and research programs. Each listing includes links to available programs, accessible here.

Announcing a New Virtual Study Group
We are pleased to announce the formation of a new FFI Virtual Study Group, with the working title Advancing Advisory and Research Practice by Fostering Cross-Cultural Connections across Africa.

About the Group

The purpose of this VSG is to enhance the practitioner ecosystem by offering best-practice tools, research, and insightful discussions to VSG members across Africa’s incredibly diverse landscape.

Membership in the group is open to FFI African members as well as other FFI members who are interested in understanding the complex socio-economic and geopolitical dynamics of the world’s second-largest continent. Each session will focus on a specific topic affecting the dynamics advising and researching African family-owned enterprises, drawing from research data, professional experience, and practical insights.

This new VSG is being organized and chaired by Jean Meeks-Koch, PhD, FFI Fellow, and co-chaired by Dennis Oteng, DBA, ACFBA, ACFWA, and Mercy Edukugho-Aminah, CFWA.
