Prepared Exclusively for FFI Members
From the FFI board chair
November 29, 2019
D

ear Colleagues,
It was my pleasure and honor last month to be elected chair of the FFI board of directors for a three-year term. This is an exciting time in our field, as evidenced by the energy, generative discussion, provocative ideas, and tremendous opportunities for connecting with each other at the annual global conference in Miami. As I take this new role, I am committed to working collaboratively and diligently to promote the field, support members and advance the mission of FFI in the coming years as together we meet the challenges and confront the ever-changing future.

It was also my pleasure to meet more than 300 FFI members from around the world in Miami.

It was an action packed three days, during which we:
Confirmed newly elected directors at the annual meeting:
Mary Duke, Cynthia Lee, Lisa Morel, Maya Prabhu, and Jon Ramos
Elected officers for the board:
Debbie Bing, chair; Carlo Salvato, vice-chair; Asher Noor, secretary; Sandra McNeely, treasurer
Thanked outgoing board member for their services:
Dan Bayston, David Harvey, David King, Annie Koh, and Catherine Rossbach
