ear Colleagues,
I am pleased to report that the FFI board of directors and the 2020 Global Conference planning committee held a series of meetings earlier this month to further the strategic goals of the organization and to put in place the final plans for the October 28–30 conference in New York at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

Here are some highlights.

The 2020 Program Committee met on Wednesday and Thursday, February 5 and 6, to review more than 80 excellent proposals from more nearly 100 applicants from around the world. The final program will be announced in March, but meanwhile, thanks to the committee members listed below.

The co-author of Seeing the Blind Spot was inadvertently omitted in last week’s edition. Peter Bloom is the co-author with Mariana Martinez for this book. The February 14 issue has been updated with Peter’s information.
