Prepared Exclusively for FFI Members

Greetings from the 2019 FFI Nominating Committee
March 01, 2019
Introduction
T

he 2019 Nominating Committee welcomes suggestions from the FFI membership for possible nominees for consideration for Board of Director positions for four-year terms that begin following the Annual Meeting in Miami in October 2019.

This year, the Committee is looking for expertise in the following areas:
  • Accessing extended global connections for membership development
  • Experience with data analytics, social networking, and digital marketing
  • Raising funds for bold and innovative educational and research projects
In all cases, we are seeking individuals who are committed to and enthusiastic about FFI’s multidisciplinary and cross-cultural approach to the field as articulated in the mission statement:
“…to be the most influential global network of thought leaders in the field of family enterprise. We provide research-based learning and relevant tools for advisors and consultants, academics and family enterprise members to drive success.”
Nominees are not required to be current members of FFI. Members also should feel free to suggest themselves for consideration by the Committee. Names should be submitted using the online form by March 18.

The Nominating Committee will then review all suggestions from the members, along with the results of its own search, to develop a list of potential candidates for interviewing by the Committee. Nominees will be chosen by early June, and the election will take place by electronic balloting beginning in August.
