he 2020 Nominating Committee welcomes suggestions from the FFI membership for possible nominees for consideration for Board of Director positions for four-year terms that begin following the Annual Meeting in New York in October 2020.

This year, the Committee is looking for individuals who have experience and interest in one or more of the following areas:
N
Accessing extended networks to promote FFI’s strategic growth in research, education, and public awareness
N
Experience with emerging technologies
N
Development of patient capital to fund bold and innovative initiatives
N
Academic, research, and scholarly backgrounds in a variety of disciplines related to multi-generational family enterprise (including anthropology and psychology)

In all cases, we are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about FFI’s multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural approach to the field as articulated in the mission statement:

“…to be the most influential global network of thought leaders in the field of family enterprise. We provide research-based learning and relevant tools for advisors and consultants, academics and family enterprise members to drive success.”

Nominees are not required to be current members of FFI. Members also should feel free to suggest themselves for consideration by the Committee. Names should be submitted using the online form by March 22.

The Nominating Committee will then review all suggestions from the members, along with the results of its own search, to develop a list of potential candidates for interviewing by the Committee. Nominees will be chosen by early June, and the election will take place by electronic balloting beginning in August.

Thanks to this year’s Nominating Committee
