he 2022 Nominating Committee welcomes suggestions from the FFI membership for possible nominees for Board of Director positions of four-year terms that will begin following the Annual Meeting this fall.

This year, the Committee is seeking up to three individuals who reflect the diverse background and geography of the membership and have experience and interest in one or more of the following areas:
N

Accessing extended networks to promote FFI’s strategic growth in research, education, and public awareness

N
Experience and knowledge of effective methods of disseminating information and/or marketing
N
Experience with emerging technologies
N
Entrepreneurial experience or experience within a family enterprise

In all cases, we are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about FFI’s multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural approach to the field as articulated in the mission statement:

“…to be the most influential global network of thought leaders in the field of family enterprise. We provide research-based learning and relevant tools for advisors and consultants, academics and family enterprise members to drive success.”

Nominees are not required to be current members of FFI. Members also should feel free to suggest themselves for consideration by the Committee. Names should be submitted using the online form by April 8th.

The Nominating Committee will then review all suggestions from the members, along with the results of its own search, to develop a list of potential candidates for interviewing by the Committee. Nominees will be chosen by early June, and the election will take place by electronic balloting beginning in August.

Thanks to this year’s Nominating Committee
