he 2023 Nominating Committee welcomes suggestions from the FFI membership for possible nominees for Board of Director positions of four-year terms that will begin following the Annual Meeting this fall.

This year, the committee is seeking up to four individuals who reflect the diverse background and geography of the membership and have experience and interest in one or more of the following areas:
N

Accessing extended networks to promote FFI’s strategic growth in research, education, and public awareness

N
Experience and expertise in disseminating information and/or digital marketing
N
Advisory or academic experience in family office/family wealth management
N
Behavioral science background as applied to family enterprise
The Committee is committed to ensuring that the board reflects the global nature of the field and is especially interested in considering candidates with experience researching or advising Asian and MENA family businesses or family offices.

In all cases, we are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about FFI’s multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural approach to the field as articulated in the mission statement:

“…to be the most influential global network of thought leaders in the field of family enterprise. We provide research-based learning and relevant tools for advisors and consultants, academics, and family enterprise members to drive success.”
Nominees are not required to be current members of FFI. Members also should feel free to suggest themselves for consideration by the Committee. Names should be submitted using the online form by April 9.
The Nominating Committee will then review all suggestions from the members, along with the results of its own search, to develop a list of potential candidates for interviewing by the Committee. Nominees will be chosen in June, and the election will take place by electronic balloting beginning in late August or early September.
Thanks to this year’s Nominating Committee
