Nowhere is learning together better exemplified than in the FFI Global Education Network (GEN). Education has always been at the heart of FFI and in 2012 the educational goals and the global profile of FFI came together in the GEN Certificate program. Today it is going strong. And this year will see a new format for an FFI flagship event. The annual global conference is going virtual, but it will keep the same New York City spirit of diversity, camaraderie, energy, and the unexpected. Go here for details and to register.

Driving the field of family enterprise research, advising and consulting

Of course, all the elements of FFI work together to promote and influence the field worldwide, but another public awareness effort that became a digital journal in 2012 continues to thrive – FFI Practitioner. Each week it goes to thousands of people, members and non-members, with succinct and relevant articles. This month we are debuting an updated and reorganized website at ffipractitioner.org so that you can make better use of this amazing inventory of articles for your own education and for that of your clients.

As we approach the last four months of 2020 we want to remind that you that we are actually very near and that we have come very far (and from very far), thanks to all members across the globe, across the years and now across social distancing! See you soon—virtually, in-person, in the cloud, or somewhere in between!
