The Family Edge: How Your Biggest Competitive Advantage in Business Isn’t What You’ve Been Taught . . . It’s Your Family
After more than thirty years consulting for Fortune 100 companies, international organizations, and family businesses around the world, Gibb Dyer argues that the secret ingredient to business and entrepreneurial success is not an MBA from a great school, a fantastic marketing plan, or even a blue ocean strategy, but access to three types of capital: financial, social, and human. Dyer’s three decades worth of research and data conclude that the most effective and successful entrepreneurs have immediate access to these three–all within their family.
Gibb Dyer is the O. Leslie Stone Professor in the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. He is an award-winning author of over 50 articles and 9 books and has been a member of FFI since 1986.

The Longevity Code: Secrets to Living Well for Longer from the Front Lines of Science
We all know that we age—but do we know exactly how, and why? And is it possible to slow the process so you can live well, for longer? This book discusses these questions and more. Kris Verburgh, MD, is the opening keynote at the 2019 FFI Global Conference in Miami. In this context, he has created a new scientific discipline, called “nutrigerontology,” which studies the impact of nutrition on the aging process and aging-related diseases.
