Lansberg Gersick Advisors (LGA) is a global consulting and research firm. Founded in 1997 by Ivan Lansberg and Kelin Gersick, it was built on their longstanding collaboration as advisors and founding academics in the family enterprise field. University of Alberta School of Business features the Centre for Entrepreneurship & Family Enterprise (CEFE) and Alberta Business Family Institute (ABFI). CEFE is a research center that helps scholars, students, and family business practitioners understand how cultural processes in family enterprises influence strategic objectives. ABFI offers research-based educational programs to family-owned businesses in Alberta and beyond.

Established in 2003, the The Wealth Management Institute (WMI) provides a comprehensive suite of practice-based certification and diploma programs and collaborates with leading universities for masters qualifications. WMI provides training in asset management, wealth management, family office, compliance and risk management across more than 100 programs. WMI also helms the Global-Asia Family Office Circle (GFO Circle), a network platform for the family office community in Singapore and Asia that is dedicated to meeting the needs of the family office sector through peer learning, collaboration and competency building.
