Prepared Exclusively for FFI Members

On Being an FFI Member and More…

As we approach the end of 2017, we want to thank you for your membership in FFI, your commitment to the field and to the organization.

On our end, we’ve tried to make this year “Electrifying“– to borrow the conference theme!

Of course, there are many ways to be electrifying – not all good! We’ve focused on technological improvements and casting a wider and wider net into the membership for sharing ideas across the globe.

And we’re not done with 2017 yet.

Coming your way this month– Social Link

We are pleased to announce that the Family Firm Institute online member community is being upgraded on December 15 and we think you are going to love it!

You can expect a brand-new way to easily connect with fellow colleagues, share information across the FFI network, and manage your membership preferences. Finding member information and updates will be easier than ever thanks to this exciting new enhancement, which works beautifully on phones and tablets.

In the next few days, you will receive an email on how to access and navigate through your new member profile. Your login information will remain the same.

To give you an idea of what you can expect, check out this short informational video below:

November debut – New Look for FFI on Friday

Here’s a quick look at the November editions:

Please tell us what you like best and what you’d like to see more of by emailing ffi@ffi.org.

And then… there is FFI Practitioner

This publication, which started with “periodic” issues in 2006, has been published weekly since 2012 and its readership has grown to more than 5000 over time.

In 2018, we have bigger goals to increase the outreach and influence of this publication, but we need YOU. Here’s what you can do:

Write for FFI Practitioner

In 2017 we published 47 authors from nine countries on a variety of topics. In 2018, we’d like to include YOU. Want help on what to write about? Email ffipractitioner@ffi.org. We accept articles (short and long), interviews, podcasts, videos, commentaries on research and much more. Articles must be ORIGINAL and not previously published anywhere.

Spread the word

There are “share” and “forward” buttons on all the new editions, so please invite your colleagues, clients, friends and others to be part of this network of readers and writers.
